Everything But A Christmas Eve
Avalon Romance
December 2009
Holly Jacobs
Nana Vancy Salo was out of sorts. She always has a wedding that she has to plan, or at least try to plan, because every time a member of her family was going to get married the family curse reared its ugly head and foiled the wedding. Well, the curse was broken and all of the grandchildren were married. So what was she going to do now?
Nana Vancy was bemoaning this fact to her friends Isabel and Annabelle the Silver Bells. Annabelle told Vancy she should try her hand at matchmaking. Vancy thought that was a great idea and she had the people who she thought would make a cute couple; Eve Allen, her husband’s office manager, and TC Potter, her next door neighbor.
Eve didn’t know what to think of her boss’s wife coming in and asking silly questions, like what her favorite holiday and color was. When she proceeds to ask her to a family dinner, she could only ask herself “What is she doing?”
TC Potter had lived next to the Salo’s for quite a while and had several dinners but Vancy had not asked him his favorite holiday or color before. So why was she asking him now and then inviting him to dinner?
When a little Hungarian woman starts asking you to do things for her and has some one of the opposite sex to help you, run. Okay maybe you don’t want to run if you want to find true love and live the rest of your live deliriously happy. Holly Jacobs gives her readers a wonderful Christmas present this year in “Everything But a Christmas Eve”. It is a light hearted tale that will fit into any Christmas time schedule.
